Feedwater
Heaters
Greens Power provide High Pressure
and Low Pressure feedwater heaters for conventional fossil fuel generation,
nuclear, co-generation,
district heating and advanced cycle configurations.
Feedwater heater systems can extract up to 30% of the turbine throttle
steam. The intelligent use of this energy source is critical for
efficient generation of electric power.
Greens Power produce efficient,
cost effective designs providing longevity and trouble free service.
We employ an array of proprietary
industry specific design programmes to ensure the integrity, performance
and reliability of each feedwater heater. Comprehensive vibration
analysis utilising advanced fluid-structural coupling potential to
limit damaging velocities to safe values.
Greens Power offer highly refined condensing, desuperheating, and drains
cooling zone designs to contend with severe operation, partial
or overload conditions. Our desuperheaters provide maximum exit dry
wall temperature control, reduced or eliminated condensing tendency
and practical vibration control. Our drains coolers provide low friction
loss, conservative flash margin, rapid zone flooding and generous
end plate thickness to preclude unstable condensing zone level changes.
Greens Power vertical channel down (VCD) designs offer a small footprint,
piping economies and simplified bundle access. vertical channel up
(VCU) designs offer similar space
savings, easy channel and bundle removal and positive liquid seal
for full length drains coolers.
Surface Condensers
Greens Power condensers are
the product of the evolution of advanced technology, offering maximum
thermal efficiency and a robust and economical mechanical design.
Greens Power Surface Condenser
Mechanical Design Provides:
• Security against tube leakage and condensate contamination
• Protection against destructive tube vibration
• Controlled thermal expansion
• Protection of tubes and structure from impact of high energy fluids
• Control of tube loads and tubesheet stresses
• Ease of field assembly
• Optional turbine exhaust arrangements (underslung or axial)
Greens Power
Surface Condenser Thermal and Hydraulic Design Provides:
• Optimised tube layout
• Conservatively designed steam lanes
• Effective removal of non-condensibles
• Maximum efficient use of available surface area
• Minimised cooling water pressure drop
• Uniform steam distribution
• Optimised condensate reheating
Greens Power provide a comprehensive
range of condenser designs for rectangular and circular shell surface
condensers.
Rectangular Surface Condensers are available as:
•
Fully shop assembled units
•Greens Power “flat pack” design to simplify transport
and to maximise on labour
content at site.
•
Modular Changeout of existing condensers for life extension and improved
thermal efficiency
and air extraction.
Circular Surface Condenser
Greens Power design an economically sized condenser suitable for smaller
turbine ratings. The compact circular design arrangement provides for
ease of transport and is available with a variety of turbine exhaust
options.
