10ESDrangeESDRangeTheESDboilerExternalSuperheaterDTypewasfirstintroducedinacargolinerin1949.SincethenseveralhundredhavebeeninstalledinverylargeTankersandfastContainershipsrequiringlongperiodsofoperationatseawithminimummaintenance.Thefurnaceisdesignedforrooffiringtoobtaintherequiredlongflamepathandhighboileroutputs.AGreensPowereconomiserisincludedtomaximiseheatrecoverywhichaccountsforapproximately75ofthetotalgeneratingsurface.CurrentlythemainapplicationisforLNGLiquidNaturalGascarriernewbuildingswherethereisthenecessitytoburnthenaturalboiloffgasintheboilersoroiloracombinationofboth.Therearetwoboilerspervesselfrom36to65that62barshowevertherangeextendsupto220thshouldtherebeafutureneedforlargercarriers.OurrangeofESDboilersisofferedthroughanumberoflicencees.F.P.S.O.VesselsGreensPowerhavethefacilitiestoofferdesignengineeringforanyfloatingproductionstorageandoffloadingF.P.S.O.vesselconversionfromoldertankertonnagerequiringconversionofexistingBi-drumboilers.WhennewtonnageisbeingconsideredGreensproductrangeisabletomeettherequirementsforfiredboilersandwasteheatrecoveryfromgasturbineinstallations
