Operational Benefits
Easier Steaming
By using heated feedwater, the boiler reacts more readily to loads.
Longer Boiler Life
Heated feedwater substantially reduces ‘racking stresses’ caused
by relatively cold water entering the hot boiler. The economiser protects
the boiler from these thermal stresses and helps to prolong the service
life of the boiler.
Increased Steam Capacity
Where required an economiser can be used to increase the steam production
above previous maximum outputs.
The Right Heating Surface
Greens Power have developed over the years several different types
of extended surface tube to suit many fuel types, maximising thermal
efficiency and low fouling characteristics.
