Natural
Circulation Boilers (below left)
Natural Circulation Boilers have high circulation rates which
help to minimise internal tube deposits. Efficient water cooled wall
systems which create low temperature operating conditions, together
with an absence of circulating pumps, means that Natural Circulation
Boilers give trouble free life with minimum maintenance and cost
efficient operation.

Assisted Circulation Boilers (above right)
Assisted Circulation Boilers rely on the use of relatively small
diameter extended surface tubing for convective heat transfer where there
is insufficient thermal head to allow a natural circulation design to
be used. Single gas-pass operation facilitates the design of compact
cost efficient units on sites where space is at a premium, however other
arrangements are also possible. Combined
Heat & Power (below

Greens Power have comprehensive experience of providing boiler
plant for C.H.P. applications, and has successfully completed projects
ranging from initial design studies through to commissioning and handover
of complete turnkey projects. The Division has experience of working
with consulting engineers, main contractors, or as nominated sub-contractors,
and direct for the end user.

Package Shell Boilers (above

Shell type waste boilers are an attractive and economic option
on projects where low to medium pressure steam is needed. Due to
the large physical size of these boilers, applications with or without
supplementary firing are usually restricted to gas turbines of 6MWe
and below
Steampacket Single Furnace
Boilers
Evaporation from 2,000 lb/hr (907 kg/hr)
to 36,000 lb/hr (16,330 kg/hr) F & A 212¾F
Arange of single furnace boilers incorporating
generous design characteristics, with particular attention being paid
to the furnace tube which is carefully matched to the type of fuel
and combustion equipment being used.
The Steampacket boiler is designed
to
operate with pressure jet or rotary cup oil, gas or dual fired combustion
equipment.
Maxecon Twin Furnace Boilers
Evaporation up to 74,000 lb/hr (33,566 kg/hr)
F & A 212¾F
A top quality range of boilers purpose-designed with a high
thermal storage capacity to meet widely fluctuating loads and suitable
for firing with rotary cup or steam assisted oil/gas or dual fuel burners.
The
furnace chambers are of a fully corrugated construction to permit maximum
flexibility whilst the boiler is under heavily fluctuating load conditions.
Controls are available with the twin furnace design to allow operation
on one furnace
only for indefinite periods when very low outputs are anticipated.
The Maxecon
boiler is world famous for its internal accessibility which permits ease
of maintenance and inspection.
Superheaters
Many Maxecon boilers have been supplied complete with superheaters fitted
into a modified front smokebox to suit clients steam temperature requirements.
Cornishman Hot Water Boilers
Duties from 2 million (586KW) to 35 million
BTU/hr (10,250KW)
This range of single furnace three-pass, fully wet-back
hot water boilers incorporates a special internal circulating device to
ensure even water temperatures and minimal shell stresses over a wide range
of operating conditions.
The boilers are designed to operate with pressure jet or rotary cup oil,
gas or dual fired combustion equipment.
